Timberwolf 3d

This is an early (low-detail) 3d render of my 'Advanced Light Cruiser' design - It is intended as a Tier6 version of the Tier1 Miranda Class (and variants) in "Star Trek Online".

To give some early/basic info:

The Name comes from the Timberwolf species native to Continental North-America on Earth, and all ships of the class are named for predatory 'hunting' animals found on Federation 'Founder' worlds ((Other ship name examples: "USS Sehlat", "USS Thylacine" - Feel free to suggest others!)).

It is a fast, maneuverable, but lightly armoured small cruiser intended to support larger, slower cruisers with flanking manouvers and mid-range recon. To make best use of the vessel's enhances speed and maneuverability, it has a different weapons configuration, dropping the traditional cruiser 4/4 layout for a more aggressive 5/3 layout. 
When on solo missions, it is a versatile multi-task vessel with a great degree of molecularity. The 'panel' segments on the saucer section are actually removable modules that can be mixed and matched for the needs of the mission.
